Time Clauses


Future Time in Time Clauses

Reminder: You must use the simple present tense in a future time clause. Time clauses begin with words such as before, after, when, as soon as, until.

 

Ex. I’m going to eat before I leave for work.
      Before I leave for work, I’m going to eat.

1. I’m going to eat lunch at 12:30. After I ______ (eat) lunch, I _____ (take) a nap.

2. I ______(lend) you this book as soon as I ______ (finish) it.

3. When the class ______ (be) over, Marilyn ______ (go) shopping.

4. He ______ (stay) home until he _______ (Feel) better.

5. As soon as it ________ (stop) raining. I _______ (walk) to the store.
